A spell bottle is a bottle into which a magical spell has been cast in this case for protection of the maker. Attendees shall create and leave with their own specially made Protection Spell Bottle. All who come will also leave with a deeper knowledge of spell and charm crafting, charging items, and protection magic. We hope you can join us in making a bit of magic.
Spell bottles, also known as "Witches Bottles", have been in use in England and the United States since at least the 1600's. Many types of bottle spells are used in folk magic traditions from around the world. Almost every culture that uses bottles (or gourds, or animal horns) as containers also has developed ways to use those containers to hold works of magical spell craft.
Diana has studied Witchcraft, Wicca, and Goddess Spirituality since she was a young Diana. She is an eclectic solitary Witch who practices a Joyous Ecstatic Tradition heavily influenced by Wicca and Goddess Spirituality.
As an active member of the San Diego Metaphysical Community and owner/ operator of "Tree of Life Metaphysical Books and Gifts" in San Diego Diana teaches many classes on the Craft, including her popular "Crafts of the Craft" series which include Love Magick Workshops, Candle Magick Workshops, Magickal Incense Workshops, and Magickal Amulet Workshops, just to name a few.
Health
If you are feeling under the weather, or have been exposed to someone who is sick, please stay home and rest up!
Parking
We highly recommend coming down a bit early to comfortably find parking. Ocean Beach is a busy little beach community, but there is ample parking. There is a paid lot by the CVS across Cable St. and lots of free street parking available.
